Simran Capital was founded in 2005 by Mesh Tandon for the purpose of providing alternative investment strategies in High Yield & Distressed markets.

Mesh has extensive Wall Street expertise, including high yield and distressed trading, research, corporate restructuring and investment banking. In 2006, Simran Capital became the first investment advisor to offer a Pre-Event Driven™ Activist Strategy. The unique uncorrelated strategy was trademarked in 2007.

Since its launch, Simran Capital has assembled a global team of specialists to implement the firm’s comprehensive investment process. Currently, Simran Capital has offices in Chicago, Dallas and Newport Beach.
